The aim of this study is to describe the structure of the woody vegetation of the Mozogo-Gokoro National Park, located in the Sudano- Sahelian zone in Cameroon. At the end of a floristic inventory considering all the ligneous individuals, the analyses took into account the following parameters: the diametrical structure, the types of stems, the distribution in classes of heights, the biological types and the vegetative types. Globally, these different forms of characterization have proved the aging of the stand. The percentages of vegetative types show vegetation dominated by shrubs (63.12%), but with a significant presence of lianas (26.34%) and trees (10.54%). Based on the diameters-heights correlation tests, the type of stems parameter, with a dominance of high (1521 stems/ha) and medium-high stems (733 stems/ha), is shown to be more credible in the study of the integral structure of woody vegetation. However, the structural analysis of the species presents trends, showing the importance of all the parameters and a divergence in the pressures. Finally, in the process of sustainable management of the park, regeneration and growth of woody vegetation is a worry concerning the entire stand, but in a more targeted manner when depending on the species.</p> ER -
