The unknown stays mostly unseen. Determination of Stellaria ruderalis inside the Stellaria media group

Macroscopically visible distinguishing characteristics of the four species in the Stellaria media group occurring in central Europe are presented and discussed. The focus is on the differentiation of S. neglecta from S. ruderalis and S. media from S. ruderalis. Main features are illustrated by images.
