Pilosella multiflora, the correct name for Pilosella guthnikiana

A previously ignored publication by Gaudin (1820) makes it necessary to rename Pilosella guthnikiana to P. multiflora. For the basionym Hieracium multiflorum Schleich. ex Gaudin a neotypus of the herbarium Lausanne (LAU-0122837) is determined by a collection of Schleicher and illustrated. Two related subspecies are transferred to P. multiflora.
