Asplenium ×bosco-gurinense, hybr. nov., a new Asplenium hybrid from the Tessin (Aspleniaceae, Pteridophyta)

Abstract

A hybrid between A. septentrionale (L.) Hoffm. subsp. septentrionale and A. viride (L.) Huds. is described. This hybrid was found as a single specimen near Bosco-Gurin in the Canton Ticino, Switzerland. The intermediate morphology as well as investigations of spores, molecular genetics and cytology confirms the supposed parental origin.
